Frequently Asked Questions

A sound bath is an immersive, passive experience where you lie down and allow the resonance of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments to wash over you. There is no active participation required — no movement, no breath holds, no mantras. You simply arrive, lie down, and let the sound do the work. Most people feel deeply rested within the first twenty minutes.

None at all. Sound baths work whether or not you have ever meditated, practised yoga, or explored any kind of wellness practice before. They work whether or not you believe in them. Your nervous system responds to sound frequency physiologically — it does not require belief or effort.

No. Wildflower Sounds is spiritually inclusive but not spiritually led. The practice is grounded in the science of the nervous system and the physiological response to sound frequency. People of any faith, no faith, and any background are equally welcome.

Many women find sound baths deeply supportive during pregnancy, and prenatal sessions at Wildflower Sounds are designed specifically to be pregnancy-safe — with adapted positions and a gentle pace. If you have any concerns about your specific pregnancy, please consult your midwife or OB before attending. This is not medical advice.

Mattresses are provided. Bring a pillow and a blanket. Wear comfortable, layered clothing — bodies cool down during deep rest. Bring water if you like. Phones on silent, please. Arrive five to ten minutes early so you can settle in without rushing.

That is completely fine — and actually quite common. Falling asleep during a sound bath is a sign that your nervous system is doing exactly what it needs to do. You will still receive the benefits of the sound. There is no wrong way to be in the room.
